Salary: £29,216 - £33,890 per year (plus additional £1,980 - £2,530 for potential sleepovers)

Contract: 38.5 hours per week

What you'll do:

  • Create a real sense of belonging, encouraging children and colleagues alike to feel safe, supported and nurtured.

  • Lead and mentor your team to deliver trauma-informed care, ensuring our young people feel loved, respected and empowered.

  • Take ownership of day-to-day care delivery and ensure high standards through adherence to our values and policies.

What we’re looking for:

  • At least 2 years' experience in a residential care setting (young people or adults)

  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • The ability to stay calm and compassionate in challenging situations

  • A full driving licence

  • A relevant care qualification (HNC, SCQF 7/SVQ 3/NVQ 3 or 4), or the willingness to gain this

Job Description

Because of the nature of its work with children and young people, Inspire Scotland uses the Disclosure Scotland Service (PVG) to make checks at an enhanced level on all persons whose work or proposed work will involve regular contact with or working in close proximity to children and young people in our care.

For our England homes a DBS check will be required.
