Our Impact

Inspire is an award-winning leader in residential care, providing children and young people with supportive and enriching home lives across Scotland and England.

Inspire is registered with OFSTED in England and the National Framework for Children’s Residential Care and Education Services in Scotland. We work closely with local authorities, schools, colleges, health services and national organisations to provide joined-up and loving support for children and young people.

Our services are built on a forward-thinking, therapeutic approach to care, education and wellbeing. We understand that every young person is unique, which is why we tailor our support to meet a wide range of individual needs. Drawing on trauma-informed practice, the Solihull Approach and The Promise, we create safe, nurturing home environments, build positive and lasting relationships, and support young people on their journey towards independence and brighter futures.

Our dedicated education team has expertise across all levels of the UK school system and works to secure the best possible outcomes for every child and young person. They also help young people prepare for adulthood by supporting transitions into further education, training and employment, and by guiding them through the move from residential care to independent living. Our Keeping in Touch policy reflects our belief in the importance of healthy, lasting relationships, encouraging continued connections beyond a young person’s time with us.

Today, we are privileged to care for over 60 children and young people across 15 homes in Scotland and England. In our 2021 annual engagement survey, 86% of children and young people told us they are happy with the care they receive and feel well looked after.
