WORKING WITH US

Our Culture

Every Inspire employee is to be trusted with the safety and wellbeing of the children and young people living under our care, placing huge importance on training and best practice in how our staff are equipped to do their jobs.

The Inspire Ethos is the underlying framework that defines our Culture, a trauma-informed methodology based on The Solihull Approach that incorporates a range of the most up to date approaches and insights used across the care industry.

The principles of the Inspire Ethos promote harmonious, collaborative relationships between care professionals and children and young people that are built on mutual respect, trust and unconditional appreciation. We have a dedicated Professional development Coordinator whose role is to support staff in getting to grips with this comprehensive model of service delivery, ensuring they are optimally skilled and prepared to fulfil their roles.

WHAT DO OUR STAFF SAY?

EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY

We’re proud to share that Inspire Scotland has been awarded the LGBT Silver Charter Award by LGBT Youth Scotland

What better way to start Pride Month than by celebrating this incredible achievement and reaffirming our commitment to inclusion, equality, and support for the LGBTQ+ community?

Over the past year, we have taken meaningful action to ensure LGBTQ+ inclusion is woven into every part of our work. This has included updating policies, delivering staff training, and launching a campaign focused on promoting kindness and inclusion. As part of this campaign, our Progress Pride Flag travelled to all 15 of our houses, gathering heartfelt messages of support from young people and staff alike.

Receiving the Silver Charter Award is a proud moment for our entire team. It represents not just recognition, but a promise to continue building an environment where every young person feels valued, respected, and empowered.
