At Inspire Scotland, our homes don’t switch off when the sun goes down. Our young people need to feel safe and supported 24/7 and that’s where you come in.
We’re looking for compassionate, dependable Nightshift Residential Childcare Workers to provide care and reassurance through the night. You’ll be a steady presence — there to respond with calmness and kindness when needed, and to make sure our homes remain safe, nurturing spaces while the rest of the world sleeps.
This is a unique and deeply meaningful role, perfect for someone who thrives on supporting others in a quieter, more focused setting.
What you can expect from us:
· Professional development – after 6 months, we’ll support you to complete your SCQF Level 7 / NVQ Level 3 or HNC
· 28 days annual leave pro rata – plus your birthday off
· Continuous training and career progression
· Employee perks and discounts
· Enhanced maternity leave
· Death in service insurance
· Access to the Blue Light Card
· Auto-enrolment onto the company pension scheme
· A supportive, family-feel team who genuinely care
What we’re looking for:
· Experience in a residential or social care setting — or personal/lived experience with the right values and drive to make a difference
· Flexibility, strong communication, and emotional resilience
· A calm, caring presence and a passion for helping others
· SCQF Level 7 / HNC or NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care — or willingness to work towards it
