Hours: 37.5 per week (Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm)
Here at Inspire Scotland we are constantly looking at how we can improve our service, reach and the opportunities we can provide our children and young people. We are therefore delighted to announce the creation of this brand-new role – Placements Co-ordinator.
This is an exciting new post for Inspire Scotland and the successful candidate will support our Placements Manager, helping to manage and distribute referrals, ensuring efficient communication between local authority commissioners and our internal managers.
The new post holder will help co-ordinate and drive the referrals process, reporting on conversations and aiming for high occupancy rates.

What we expect from you:
A minimum of 1-year residential childcare experience
Have an understanding of the issues affecting CYP in care, along with children’s rights, child protection awareness and child development
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
Confident on the phone and a good understanding of paperwork
Excellent understanding of care regulations
Be able to work as part of a team and have flexibility with the roles undertaken
Ability to remain calm under pressure
